Peter knew growth takes time. He wrote these words in 2 Peter 3:18 near the end of his life, after years of following Jesus, failing, learning, and trying again. If anyone understood what steady, slow growth looked like, it was him.
Growing in grace means letting go of perfectionism and remembering that your faith isn’t measured by performance, but by presence. Growing in knowledge means getting to know Jesus more deeply—not just learning about him but learning to fully follow him.
Growth doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when you keep showing up—when you let God water the soil of your heart again and again.
You’ve been planted, connected, and strengthened. Now, keep growing. Keep trusting. Keep letting Jesus shape what’s next.
Pray: Lord, thank you for growing me this week. Keep leading me forward. Help me stay rooted in grace and open to what you want to grow next.
